Mechical Designer to $50,000

Our client is growing and they need to add a designer to their staff who is very proficient in the use of AutoCAD Inventor, SolidWorks or some other 3D design software. They are an electronics job shop.
Requirements:
1. Associates degree in design or a related field and 3+ years of strong 3D CAD design experience of plastic molded parts
2. Experience with the selection of plastic materials and their properties is highly desired
3. Good working knowledge of fabrications, machining, molding drawings, and graphics.
4. Knowledgeable and experienced in Assembly and Manufacturing processes
5. Good communication skills, written and verbal.
Duties:
1. Design plastic molded brackets, housings, bezels and mechanical hardware
2. Select and/or specify materials and components.
3. Maintain accurate and current documentation packages.
