Installation and System Integration Manager, Residential and Commercial Audio/Video Services

ACS Home Entertainment has been a leader in home entertainment technologies for over 34 years.  Our roots were established in the home satellite industry that we helped pioneer.  We are now one of twenty Regional Service Providers for DISH Network (nationally).  We employ approximately 50 Satellite Installation Technicians and cover most of Southwestern Virginia. 

 

In addition to satellite technologies, ACS is also a strong market player in the field of commercial and residential custom audio/video solutions including custom flat panel TV installations, entire home data and A/V distribution, distributed audio, home theaters, Etc.  We currently maintain a customer-friendly retail showroom based in Roanoke, Virginia.

 



Job Description:

Prior Custom Audio/Video Installation Experience Required for Consideration!

ACS is currently seeking an experienced Installation and Integration Technician to manage our growing custom audio and video business.  In this role, you will work closely with the sales team in designing and executing various commercial and residential installations as needed.  You will also contribute to the future growth and direction of the company.

 

 Responsibilities: Plan, design, and install residential and/or commercial audio/video systems Hire, train, and manage installation support team as needed Identify and understand existing and emerging industry-related technologies that pertain to current or future business needs Identify key product manufactures of industry related products Coordinate with current suppliers on various inventory needs Positively contribute ideas and energy to new growth opportunities for ACS Communicate one-on-one with existing and potential customers Attend various trade shows and industry related shows as needed and as approved by ACS Management Perform other administrative and operational tasks as needed

 

Qualifications: Prior Experience Required in some or all of the following areas:  New Construction & Retrofit Wiring, Surround Sound, Structured Wiring, Video, Phone, Data Distribution, Distributed Audio, Projector and Custom TV Installation, Lighting, control systems, Etc. CEDIA training and/or certification preferred Professional appearance with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, collaborative management and leadership skills, good project management skills, as well as the flexibility and adaptability to support and influence change 5-10 years of custom audio/video installation experience Well versed in new construction and retrofit installation Thorough knowledge of internet usage, Microsoft Office, and other computer technologies Ability to learn and retain new information Willingness to provide basic administrative or operational support as needed Willingness to work late evenings or weekends as needed
