The Opportunity:Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Electronic Test Technician position. Electronic Test TechnicianResponsibilities: Test and troubleshoot microprocessor-based instruments with computer-controlled equipment. Support engineering and manufacturing in testing and design. Document test procedures and reports. Work within established safety and quality standards. Follow professional development suggestions of supervisor. Assist customers with technical problems. Follow and improve testing area processes.Qualifications: Two-year electronic technology associate degree Strong writing and speaking skills Knowledge of DOS, Windows and computer hardware Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications: Experience with testing and trouble-shooting microprocessor-based instruments Knowledge of power engineering Programming skills An Award Winning Company Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
