COLONIAL ASSEMBLY & DESIGN LLC, A 25+ YEAR OLD ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, DESIGN, AND CONTRACT MANUFACTURING COMPANY IS GROWING TO MEET THE NEEDS OF AN INCREASED CUSTOMER BASE. WE ARE SEEKING HIGHLY MOTIVATED PEOPLE TO JOIN OUR TEAM. WE CURRENTLY HAVE JOB OPENINGS FOR THE FOLLOWING
ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLERS
Experience in PCB assemblies with surface mount and thru-hole technology. Familiarity with J-STD-001 and IPC-610 soldering requirements. Formal solder certification in these specifications is a plus.
MECHANICAL ASSEMBLERS
Experience in box builds, chassis wiring, cabling, wire harnesses and mechanical assembly. Ability to follow wirelists and read schematics. Familiarity with J-STD-001 and IPC-610 a plus.
MACHINIST
Experience with CNC mill and lathe programming, set-up and operation. Experience in sheet metal fabrication, building chassis, panels and general shop operation. Welding experience helpful.
SHIPPING/RECEIVING/STOCKROOM CLERK
Experience in electronic component handling and recognition, stock pulls and job kitting. Must be familiar with engineering drawings and BOMs. Computer skills required in receiving, inventory, and shipping w/ integrated software and UPS interface.
PURCHASING AGENT
Experience in negotiating and procuring components, materials and supplies in an electronic contract manufacturing environment. Familiarity with suppliers of SMT and thru-hole components, military parts and related items. Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs and prepare detailed cost estimates for PCB assemblies, cables and metalwork utilizing spreadsheets and ERP-based software programs. Must be computer literate with a minimum of 3 years experience.
ELECTRO-MECHANICAL DESIGNER
3-5 yrs experience in circuit board design and mechanical packaging and documentation. Good computer skills & design experience using PAD’s Power Logic & Power PCB preferred. Mechanical design and documentation experience using AutoCad software a plus.
