Trulite is a hydrogen technology company that has developed a compact, lightweight, hydrogen generator for fuel cell power sources. Since its inception, Trulite has focused on the development of a leading-edge hydrogen generation technology.
Job Description:
The Electro-Mechanical Technician will:
· be responsible for electro-mechanical assembly and qualification of fuel cell-based power systems and generators; build and repair electronic circuits for the products; assist in the design and development of testing equipment and procedures; assist in conducting technical risk assessments; help identify and evaluate major system cost drivers; operate and update automated test and data collection tools; review design documentation including schematics, BOMs, and test procedures; assist Design Engineering with manufacturability capabilities, product re-design and improvements, statistical service trends and site specific product issues.
Requirements:
Associate Degree: Electrical/Mechanical Technician or related field of study 2 years experience with electro-mechanical control (hardware & software) Experience with PCB layout and design Hands-on hardware assembly experience. Experience with engineering test equipment - logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, communication bus analyzers, etc. Excellent written/oral communication skills. Familiar with formal process improvement techniques is a plus; such as SixSigma; Lean Manufacturing and Experiment Design. Must have the ability to effectively function as a team member with other engineers, support services and other workers as required. Computer skills including, CAD and desktop applications.
