The Senior Cost Analyst will support TriQuint's Texas Plant which supports all four of TriQuint's business areas. Will be a key player in supporting three out of our four major business lines which includes products for our Handsets, Network, Military and Foundry businesses. This position will be key in supporting the Plant Controller, Factory Manager and his direct staff in developing and maintaining part and process costing systems, including significant overhaul of cost accounting methodologies, using SAP Costing Modules, in providing financial analysis to optimize factory profitability and be the financial source for delivery of cost information to help achieve desired profitability levels. Key responsibilities include:1). Assist in optimizing cost within the Texas facility including providing analysis on manufacturing costs, variances and equipment strategies.2). Provides cost and financial analysis with recommendations to drive factory behavior towards best in class status.3). Work as a business partner cross-organizationally and across geographies to drive profit improvement initiatives.4). Present results and analysis to senior management to help in evaluating alternatives and secure buy-in of recommendations.4) Lead key cost reduction activities across the plants and helping TriQuint-Texas achieve and improve bottom line business profitability goals.5) Be a key player in developing new problem solving approaches and methods for viewing and analyzing financial and operational information, all with an eye towards identifying improvement opportunities and helping the team achieve financial goals.6) Champion efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of financial processes. 7) Analyze financial results for root causes of variances and related costing issues. Knowledge of Class I MRP system with specific emphasis on cost modules. Must be familiar with Bill of Materials (BOM's), routings and standard cost establishment. Bachelors degree in accounting, minimum 5 years experience in cost accounting. Familiar with MS office applications (word, excel, PowerPoint). RESPOND HERE!
