Tysons Corner Children’s Center is a non-profit childcare center with two locations in the Tysons Corner area. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality childcare for our families. 

 

Currently Interviewing For:

 

A full-time Toddler Teacher to work in our engaging and dynamic Toddler classroom that has 13 children and two co-teachers (with floater support throughout the day). Hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a one hour non-paid break.     

 

Qualifications:

Candidate must have:

  at least two years experience working with children 2 to 3 years of age in a licensed child care center. a 4 year degree in ECE or other related field or an ECE associate degree.   Candidates with CDA’s and 2 years experience working with children in this age group will be considered. had successful experiences potty training children in a childcare environment ages 2 ½ years and up. the ability to prepare developmentally appropriate lesson plans that engage young children as they play and learn. strong communication skills and the ability to communicate ideas orally and written in English so others will understand.    the ability to lift children weighing up to 50 pounds, make eye contact with children at their level, and  bend and move appropriately to interact with children during the course of the day.
