Little Keswick School, celebrating its 45th year, is a small private, therapeutic residential school, serving boys, ages 10-17 years old with learning disabilities and emotional disturbance. Little Keswick School is unique from other special-needs schools as it focuses on treating the whole individual. The school is located in central Virginia, six miles east of Charlottesville, home of theUniversity of Virginia, and near the Blue Ridge Mountains. 

 

The Residential program offers students a setting to learn and practice interpersonal “life skills.” Through the use of every day interactions such as team sports, dorm meetings, off-grounds trips and leisure skills classes, the residential program helps to foster problem-solving skills, positive self-image, empathy toward others and recognition of one’s role in a larger group.
