Interactive Production Assistant

The interactive production assistant is a key member of the interactive marketing team. This individual assists in the development, maintenance and management of media for interactive marketing.

 

Essential Functions:

This person will be responsible for maintaining university web sites by accommodating update requests and performing regular content reviews for quality assurance. This person will assist in the production of interactive media, assist in the development of new university web sites, participate in social media initiatives, and complete interactive marketing research projects as assigned.

 

Specific Duties:

1.Work with members of the interactive marketing team to make updates to university web sites as identified by teams within the Office of Marketing and Communication and throughout the university as a whole. 2.Perform regularly scheduled content reviews to identify, update and/or remove dated content on university web properties. 3.Assist members of the interactive marketing team in the development of interactive media. 4.Help the interactive marketing team coordinate the production of collaborative content with the brand marketing team, including the print-to-web and video content. 5.Assist the interactive marketing team in the development of new university web sites, developed within the framework of the university's creative platform. 6.Working in conjunction with the university communication team, participate in the execution of social media communication initiatives. 7.Complete interactive marketing research projects, including the identification of research sources and the assembly of field research data.  

 

 

Requirements:

Candidate should have: one to two years of web communication or web development experience (HTML experience preferred); one to two years of experience working with web graphic production software (Photoshop and/or Illustrator); very strong attention to detail and proven ability to work independently; significant experience with online media and ability to identify online media opportunities and effective online tactics; strong oral and written communication skills; proven ability to work in a team environment; and a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects.  

 

Bachelor's degree in new media production, communication, marketing or other similar background preferred.
