Helpdesk/User Support Specialist
The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), a progressive global education association, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Helpdesk/User Support Specialist. In this role you will serve as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, peripheral equipment, and network problems.
The successful candidate must have Helpdesk certification. A+ certification (A+ 2003 preferred), MOS (XP preferred) and/or MSDST are preferred. Three years minimum experience under these certifications and a fundamental understanding of LAN support and technology is required. At least one year of senior level responsibility as a Helpdesk/User Support Specialist in a comparable, high-profile, professional computer helpdesk environment is desired. Additional certification with Magic, HP Service Desk, or Remedy preferred.
