The Art Institute of Seattle is seeking qualified candidates for part time Fashion Design Instructor positions.  Successful candidates will have a Master’s degree in Art, a related fashion field or Education and have 2 years of experience in the Fashion Design industry. 

 

We are looking for qualified candidates to teach in one or more of the following disciplines: Computer Patternmaking using Gerber Accu Mark Software; Surface Design; Technical Outerwear; Advanced Concept Development; Fashion History; Fashion Design; Textiles

 

Prior teaching experience a plus and is preferred.  Practical evaluation will be required for all positions.  Instructors must be able to work a minimum of one 4 hour block of time per week.  Work week may encompass day, evenings and/or weekend shifts.
