Department of Family Medicine (DFM)
The Director of Financial Services will provide overall budgetary & financial administrative support services for the DFM’s clinical, education, research & community outreach missions under the supervision of the DFM Administrator & general direction of the Chair. The DFM has an $80+ million budget with multiple funding sources and over 30 cost centers.
Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Business Administration or a closely related field. CPA is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience with budget planning & preparation, business & financial management, automated financial systems, financial report analysis & preparation, & supervision of a financial operation; previous experience supervising staff; excellent communication skills, creativity, flexibility; & ability to operate in high pressure situations.
