Virginia Career Institute is seeking a high energy, detail oriented, motivated Director of Career Services.   This individual will be responsible for career and employment assistance for ALL students/graduates to ensure placement goals are met.  Outstanding communication, organizational, and follow up skills are necessary.   The Director of Career Services provides career assistance through workshops, personal advisement in general career exploration, decision-making, resume writing, and job search skill development.   The successful candidate will also develop and maintain active and positive relationships with employers to ensure significant jobs for graduates.  This individual is responsible for organizing and maintaining detailed employment information on all graduates, tracking placement rates for each program, and cultivating relationships with all school and corporate personnel.   The position requires heavy phone work.  The Director of Career Services will be held accountable for maintaining positive student outcomes and making placement goals.  College degree and prior medical experience preferred.VCI will train qualified individuals.  Positive, extremely professional candidates are encouraged to apply to join our staff and help students create better lives through education!   Education Affiliates Inc. and its schools are equal opportunity employers.
