POSITION VACANCY:
Custodian/Housekeeper II
Limited Status Position
Castleton State College is seeking an individual to clean and perform routine housekeeping and maintenance of campus buildings, including residence halls, classrooms, and administrative offices; to serve as a team leader for a small crew of custodial/housekeeping staff, and/or to coordinate/carry out a specialized custodial/maintenance function. Regular scheduled workweek is 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Wednesday to Monday. This Limited Status, full-time position is a VSC grade 5 and is included in the VSCSF Bargaining Unit with an hourly rate of $10.18. There are no fringe benefits provided. This position requires the candidate to undergo a "post-offer/pre-employment physical". Qualifications: High school education desirable. One to two years of relevant commercial/institutional custodial experience. Physical ability to do heavy custodial work.
