Consultant

Management Concepts, Inc., is currently recruiting for a Consultant to join our Management and Leadership Division. In this role, you will be part of an integrated team focused on providing high-impact leadership development and consulting services to government and commercial clients. Our services are aligned with the needs and goals of our clients and are both innovative and pragmatic. We focus on improving individual, team, and organizational performance to achieve optimal organizational results. The Consultant will be responsible for contributing to the business unit in two specific roles: client learning and subject matter expert perspective (meet with clients, conduct up-front needs analysis, and write technical elements of proposals.)

We seek a consultant with a blend of domain expertise in leadership, adult learning, individual and organizational improvement methodologies, proven consulting skills, and/or leadership development. The Consultant will report to the Practice Leader of the Leadership Practice.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilizes critical and systems thinking skills to understand the leadership development needs of clients
Consult with clients to design custom learning solutions to meet their needs
Consults with clients to design custom solutions to meet their needs
Collaborates with the business unit staff in the design, development, and delivery of client solutions
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on leadership in the development of learning products and services.
Contribute to the thought leadership and innovation in order to advance the Leadership Practice.
Represents the Company in speaking engagements, forum discussions, and event presentations
Keeps abreast of emerging trends in the field of business operations analysis and improvement
Supports the business development team by meeting with potential and existing clients to offer technical expertise and credibility to the conversation
Develops high-quality technical proposals and presentations to capture new client work


Education,Skills and Experience:
Graduate degree in Leadership, Human Resource Development, Business or related field
Minimum of 5 years of leadership development consulting experience to government and/or commercial organizations
Domain expertise in leadership and individual and organization performance improvement
Ability to quickly and accurately assess client needs and develop innovative solutions
Strong analytical and interpersonal capabilities coupled with a deep understanding of leadership development and effective learning principles.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Mature interpersonal, social and influence skills demonstrated both internally with staff and externally with clients
Demonstrated experience in project design and delivery, consultative sales, and/or professional services
Proven experience in business development-revenue generation, expansion, and penetration
