This position is responsible for utilizing retail operations via the Miller Girl in the Moon Gift Shop as a vehicle to positively position MillerCoors and its family of brands in the minds of key constituencies and consumer audiences. Position requires daily utilization of brand and visual library guidelines on retail merchandise, strategic retail placement at special events in SE Wisconsin and responsibility for maintaining annual increased profitability in the retail store.-Overall management of Retail staff including but not limited to hiring & recruitment, performance management and evaluation, compensation management, scheduling, disciplinary actions, new-hire training, uniforms, etc.-Provides supervisory and strategic accountability for all aspects of Retail Operations -Problem solving and issue resolution required daily-Provides world-class customer service guidelines and requirements to all staff ambassadors-Creates, develops, implements and maintains Retail Guideline Employee Handbook-Develops, maintains and monitors retail software, policies and procedures affecting various internal and external audiences for promotional/commercial efforts-Provides updated brand and visual guidelines to staff while implementing such guidelines into desirable merchandise and retail messaging-Increases annual revenue through strategic special event implementation, creative merchandise ordering and world-class customer service sales strategies-Maintains acceptable inventory levels per Miller Brewing Co's financial guideline requirements -Bachelor degree in a related field -3-5 years supervisory or management experience in a tour, hospitality or retail environment -Advanced written and verbal communication skills-Strong people management skills with directly managing retail, hospitality, or service industry staff-Budgeting and/or Financial experience -Must possess ability to integrate long and short term plans to increase the business impact of the Visitor Operations Program-Requires strong communication, organization, problem solving, customer service and leadership skills to efficiently and effectively supervise all staff ambassadors in day-to-day operations-Demonstrated competency in the following Microsoft Office computer programs: OUTLOOK, EXCEL, POWERPOINT and WORD-Proven skills in key competencies (Analytical/Problem Solving, Results Driven, Innovative, Team Player/Interpersonal Skills, Intellect, Resilient/Flexible/Adaptable, Leadership Skills)-Demonstrated unique sensitivity when dealing with community organizations, non-profit agencies, governmental representatives and diversity groups-Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers-Strong organizational and time-management skills-Natural affiliation for managing multiple projects-Able to handle a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a superior level of customer service-Demonstrated communication skills, oral and written, for the preparation of professional, clear, concise reports-Ability to establish priorities and plans to achieve short and mid-term individual and departmental goals-Proven track record of successful problem solving resolutions
