Every location offers an environment that values each of its employees! JOB DESCRIPTION: The Quality Assurance Manager drives and coordinates efforts to improve product emulation and reduce quality attribute variation. Manages the Quality and Food Safety programs including; assuring compliance to specification of incoming ingredients, in process product and finished product; reducing process variation and driving the use of statistical process controls and methods. Managing 2 QA Supervisors and 1 Sanitation Supervisor. Develop, implement and monitor quality assurance and food safety programs. Responsible to ensure compliance with Local, State and Federal Regulatory guidelines for Food Safety. Act as Plant R & D liaison and coordinate plant involvement in Bremner projects along with test runs. Work with Marketing on product development and specifications. Drive the incorporation of SPC techniques, providing training as needed. Utilize QA data to measure product quality performance and analyze customer complaints for the root cause. Reviews and analyzes periodic plant GMP audits and inspections and communicates the findings to the appropriate personnel. Develop and manage HACCP and allergen programs. Communicate compliance levels to groups on a daily, shift and/or monthly basis. Communicate customer feedback. Coordinate product quality related to customer visits and sales and marketing communication. Accompany regulatory, AIB, customer or rabbinical inspectors and report results as required, to Bremner. Provide support to production teams and continuous improvement teams. Determines the disposition of all HOLD products. Any and all other duties as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: BS degree in food science, business or related field required. A minimum of 5 years in Quality Management and awareness of federal/state food safety regulations required. Candidates need strong written and oral communications skills. Knowledge and/or experience in team based environments is preferred.
