Pacific Cycle Inc. is the leading supplier of quality bicycles in North America and a division of Dorel Industries Inc. We design, market and import a full range of bicycles and recreation products under the brand names of Schwinn,  Mongoose, Pacific, InSTEP, Pacific Outdoors, Schwinn Motor Scooters, Roadmaster, Murray, PlaySafe, Powerlite and Dyno. Pacific Cycle is headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin with facilities in Olney, Illinois; Vacaville, California; and numerous facilities in China.

 

Pacific Cycle Inc. is seeking a Director of Quality & Compliance to lead product quality and testing initiatives from our Madison headquarters. In this position you will be responsible for engineering & testing, overseeing testing facilities, communicating with product development and sales to maintain high product quality and integrity, and working with vendors to ensure quality product. Other duties include working with purchasing & procurement on inbound product quality issues, review of customer and retailer feedback, and developing relations with CPSC and other regulatory agencies.  Qualifications are BS in Engineering, 5+ yrs experience in product testing, knowledge of bicycle or sporting goods quality standards, and prior quality management in consumer hard goods.
