TEST TECHNICIAN - BUILDING COMPONENTS
Architectural Testing is an independent testing laboratory that has been in business since the 1970's. We specialize in the inspection and testing of products in the building industry. Our corporate headquarters are located in York, PA and we have eight labs nationwide. Our Kent, WA lab continues to expand and we are looking for test technicians.The technician performs water and air infiltration tests on windows, doors and other building components.This job includes: Physical Labor - Set up and run tests on building products Computer Skills - Write reports that summarize your test results Customer Service Skills - Interact with clients and customers Opportunity for Growth - Grow in knowledge and responsibility Travel - Visit client work sites to conduct tests on installed products Training - On the job training providedREQUIREMENTS: Associates Degree in a technical field desired Technical ability and mechanical aptitude General construction knowledge and use of power tools Experience installing windows is a plus Basic computer skills Good math aptitude Good communication skills - written and oral BENEFITS INCLUDE: Health, Vision and Dental Insurance 401(k) Paid Holidays Paid Leave Time Tuition Reimbursement For more information on Architectural Testing please visit our website at www.archtest.comArchitectural Testing's culture is 'YES, we can'.
