Senior Electrical Estimator

 

This nationally recognized company is one on which commercial, institutional, and industrial clients rely upon daily to plan, implement, protect and conserve the electrical and data infrastructure vital to their business in existing facilities and for new construction.  With national capabilities, this company offers local expertise, personal service, and recognized solution sets that include Service Projects, New Construction, Technology/Equipment Rollouts, Critical Systems and Energy Conservation.

 

An opportunity currently exists for an individual qualified to fill the position of Senior Electrical  Estimator in the San Antonio area. 

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

Ø Electrical estimating of multiple projects ranging from $500K to $5M each.

Ø Oversees contract obligations to ensure compliance.

Ø Monitors actual vs. estimated labor and material costs.

Ø Independent and resourceful in managing to maintain excellent profit margin.

Ø Ensures that customers receive best-in-class service from project start through completion.

 

Required Qualifications:

Ø Texas State Journeyman/Master/Contractor License with (2) years field experience

Ø Electrical project experience in commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare.

Ø Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication/negotiation skills.

Ø Experience estimating design-build, hard bid, design assist, ground up, and tenant improvement desired.

Ø Proficient using Accubid or other estimating software.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Ø PMP Certification

Ø Minimum (3) years successful Project Management experience.

Ø Formal Project Management Training

Ø Existing business relationships with General Contractors, Owners, Engineers, Sub-Contract/Sourcing Managers in the local San Antonio Market.
