Job Description: HR Administrator, reports to Director of HR

Job Position Summary: APAC Mid-South, Inc. seeks to recruit a HR Administrator. The successful individual will assist in human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties.

Job Functions:

1) Assist in developing and maintaining the Company policy manual.
2) Maintains Company Affirmative Action/EEO programs and manages all federal/local audits.
3) Maintains employee records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
4) Maintains employee records regarding Company Health, Life, Disability, and Retirement plans.
5) Assist with Company career fairs, newsletters, orientation programs, and community relations.
6) Administers and maintains the DOT and I-9 compliance programs.
7) Develop and maintain recruiting and retention programs.
8) Develop and maintain an internship program.

Job Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

1) Five or more years of related experience and/or training in human resources management.
2) Ability to write procedure manuals and effectively present the information. Ability to respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and the general public.
3) Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
4) Strong mathematical skills.
5) Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Website applications, and payroll systems.
