Commercial Construction Project Engineer
Project Engineer Needed in the Pacific Northwest! THE COMPANYOur client, a General Contractor, is looking for a dynamic Project Engineer. The company is a negotiated general contractor that is growing rapidly, increasing revenues and looking to expand. What you should expect from our client in the office: strong employee interaction encouraged, lead by example atmosphere, and shared leadership! QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience, along with a construction related degree. The candidate should be familiar with numerous types of projects, but specifically Life Sciences (bio-tech/pharm) and Healthcare. THE POSITIONOur client is looking for an articulate professional who has excellent communication and presentation skills. The qualified candidate should have 3 years experience as a Project Engineer. A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related. The qualified candidate will have exceptional time management skills, basic computer skills, motivated, driven, high integrity, and high work ethic. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with negotiated contracts in a multiple project environment as well as the following:· The Project Engineer helps assist the Project Manager· Reviews shop drawings· Scopes changes and change orders· Work package review· Research/prepares value engineering studies· Coordinate with subcontractors· Work with the Superintendents to keep on schedule· Attend all owner meetings· Material procurement COMPENSATIONBase salary from $65,000 to $75,000 based on experience, medical/dental/vision insurance package, retirement savings plan and bonus potential.For confidential consideration please send your resume as a Microsoft Word attachment to jscheible@kbic.com and reference job code NW-PE-SEA.
