Structural Bridge EngineerDMJM Harris is offering an opportunity to a Structural Bridge Engineer capable of planning and overseeing the structural design portion of projects. A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required and a Professional Engineering (PE) Registration preferably VA with 5+ years of experience.
The position requires coordination with the Project Manager in order to provide direction and technical oversight for structural design tasks. The successful candidate will be provided the tools and given the responsibility for developing and meeting schedule, allocating resources and tracking budget.
Knowledgeable and experienced in plans and specification preparation. The candidate will need to effectively communicate (written and oral) with peers and clients and understand scope of work requirements. This position will require an individual that is willing to perform a variety of tasks and work independently. The candidate will be required to uphold Corporate Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures.
