The Senior Account Manager position entails marketing Alerton Building Automation Systems to enterprise level national account end-users, as well as all appropriate influencers. This individual will coordinate with the Alerton independent dealers to identify, develop, manage, and close Alerton product and services revenue in key national account opportunities.  He will drive a coherent National Accounts Program throughout the Alerton dealer network. Must possess executive selling skills to build account relationships throughout an organization.  Requires proven experience in identifying specific opportunities, developing those opportunities into projects while maintaining strong relationships with the Alerton independent dealers.
 
POSITION IS BASED OUT OF WASHINGTON, CANDIDATE CAN RESIDE WITHIN THE US. THIS IS A NATIONAL ACCOUNT POSITION
 
 
Specific Responsibilities Include:
 


Identifying National Account business opportunities and developing them into accounts serviced by the Alerton dealer network.

Leverage the branding of Alerton and strength of Honeywell International.

Contact executive decision makers to discuss business challenges, qualify existing and potential products and service needs.

Develop and/or approve proposals for key national accounts.

Provide coordination of project execution.

Maintain personal contact with major clients. 
Basic Qualifications:
 


Associated Degree or higher level of education.  Engineering, technical, or business field of study preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of professional sales, channel management or related building controls industry experience.

Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.Skills also include ability to communicate effectively to all dealers, clients, regional managers and presentation skills to demonstrate Alerton products or capabilities.


Experience with or exposure to DDC systems and the sale of those systems.
