Quality Control Floor Inspector

J. F. Ahern Co., a major mechanical and fire protection contractor, has an excellent opportunity for a Quality Control Floor Inspector to join our Pipe Fabrication Division.

Responsibilities include physically inspecting pipe spools and weld quality for proper dimensions and orientation as detailed on the spool drawing, filling out reports based on findings and learning and enforcing various piping construction codes.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of welding and blue print reading experience. Candidates should also have experience with piping, pipe fabrication, mechanical contracting, power plant piping, manufacturing, or quality control. CWI certification is preferred.
