We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic mid-level Implementation Engineer. Being a team member in our fast-paced team environment requires the ability to work on concurrent projects and a willingness to be a working member of the team. This job interfaces with company management, design team members, vendors, and customers. This is a unique opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding position while living abroad in Europe, with extensive opportunities for European travel.Required Skills
The Implementation Engineer's duties include but are not limited to:Installing and configuring large scale networking infrastructures. Working closely with other System Engineers to install and configure data and voice networks, or modify existing networks. Working closely with System Engineers to install and configure networks based on an Installation Design Package (IDP) that satisfy the customer's needs. Researching equipment from a multitude of manufactures to resolve technical issues during installation and testing. Working closely with Design Department to identify and correct design problems during the design cycle. Suggesting process improvements and cost savings to aid Implementation Department for future installs.Deploying Microsoft Windows Servers and LAN/WAN backbonesRequired Experience
Candidates should possess a minimum of a four year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Must possess 5+ years experience implementing data and/or voice networksStrong written and interpersonal communication skillsStrong understanding of two or more of the following: LAN/WAN technologies with a heavy emphasis on TCP/IP; Microsoft Networking; voice networking technologies (ISDN, PSTN, VoIP, etc.); network security; and router based network hardware.MCSE 2003 a plusQualified candidates should apply online with resume and salary requirements to:M.C.
