Construction Materials Department Manager

Responsibilities: This position requires a commitment to manage the department for continued growth with a strong emphasis on client development. Other responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of engineering project managers and field technicians, overseeing field services projects, reviewing reports, preparing proposals for construction testing, managing departmental P&L, and assisting other senior staff in marketing our services by maintaining regular client interactions.
Qualifications: Must have a P.E. license or be capable of obtaining local licensure within three months. Minimum education level required is BS in Civil or Materials Engineering with an emphasis on Structures and/or Materials. Experience performing minor structural evaluations, building component condition assessments, and performing destructive and non-destructive materials testing required.
