Construction Engineering Tech

K. Singh & Associates, Inc. (KSA), an established Civil, Environmental and Transportation Engineering firm in Elm Grove, Wisconsin has a need for entry level engineers or engineering technicians for its construction management practice in Waupaca for the North Central and Northeast Regions in the State. The position will provide assistance during the 2009 construction season.

 

A minimum of one- to three-years of relevant experience in providing inspection,  traffic control and project management is required. Knowledge of WisDOT’s “Construction and Materials Manual” is a must. The ideal construction candidate will have certifications for inspecting materials such as Portland Cement Concrete, hot mix asphalt, aggregate and/or other materials. Demonstrated experience with construction inspection, materials testing, traffic control, erosion control, construction staking, safety coordination and other construction specific tasks should be detailed in his/her resume.

 

The candidate will have a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field. He/she also must show an eagerness towards pursuing his/her registration as a Professional Engineer.

 

Candidates must provide a detailed cover letter demonstrating his/her construction experience on WisDOT projects with an ability to complete a project in a timely and cost effective manner.
