Change Order Estimator / Engineer
Obayashi Heavy Civil Division has an exciting opportunity for a Change Order Estimator / Engineer on the Beacon Hill Tunnel project in Seattle WA.
Job Purpose:
Assists in pricing changes on heavy civil and building portions of the Beacon Hill Tunnel Light Rail Project
Job Duties:Identification of changes Pricing of changes Prepare schedule proposals for changes Develop quantity takeoffs Manage and coordinate subcontractor cost proposals Assists the field construction team by providing direction on change issues. Maintain change document files. Provides project status information on change issues
Skills and Requirements:Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree preferred Building construction experience Heavy Civil experience a plus Knowledge of building codes Good computer skills a must Working knowledge of Auto CAD and HCSS a definite plus Must be a team player Must be willing to work in an aggressive, fast paced environment
