The job responsibilities of the Building and Maintenance Manager include but are not limited to:Directs, implements, and monitors contractors in the maintenance, operation and repair of the company buildings and grounds, which include - janitorial function, lawn and landscaping maintenance, trash removal, painting and minor repairs, office moves and other services;Ensures that such activities are carried out in accordance with regulation and established corporate procedures.Liaison of the guidelines, and business objectives with outside contractors;Ensures electrical and mechanical systems are fully operational and inspected according to corporate standards and regulatory requirements;Knowledge of methods, practices and techniques of maintaining buildings and facilities including regulatory issues in design/construction management;Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints;Inspect facilities and generate reports;Review price quotes for procurement of parts, services and labor;Prepare capital and operating budget reports;Basic knowledge of property management.Required Experience

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in related field;2-5 years of related work experience;FMP, CFP certification a plus;Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills;Respond to problems in a tactful and expedient manner;Think analytically to respond to complex inquiries;Coordinate all efforts effectively;Proficient in MS Office;Knowledge of financial principles;Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneoulsy and to prioritize the workload;Self-starter, detailed oriented, flexibility, highly organized;The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Qualified candidates should apply online with resume and salary requirements to:M.C.
