Bridge Engineer II - BellevueWe are seeking two Bridge Engineers with 4-8 years of experience to join our growing group in the Bellevue, WA office. The individuals we are seeking are motivated individuals who are looking for challenging design projects in this seismically active area. The assignments will include both design bid build projects, as well as design build projects. We are looking for individuals that have, or are motivated to get their PE and SE licenses.A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structures is required. A Masters degree is a plus. Assignments will be in designing highway and railroad bridges, tunnels, drainage structures and other infrastructure-related facilities. Performs assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Responsible for overseeing engineering aspects of the firm's less complex projects. Has a general knowledge of some aspects of engineering. Works on routine engineering assignments. Follows operations through a series of related, detailed steps or processes. Limited exercise of judgment in work. Assignments are designed to develop engineering knowledge and abilities. Knowledge of AUTOCAD and/or Microstation, LRFD Bridge Design specifications and WSDOT Seismic Design Criteria is a plus.QualificationsBridge design experience with Washington State Department of Transportation standards including LRFD Bridge Design specifications required. Experience with SAP, Conbox, or Conspan a plus. Experience designing prestressed concrete bridges recommended.
