Position Purpose:
Under general direction design, develop, test, maintain and support the Electronic Learners Portfolio (ELF) web-based application.
Essential Duties:
1. Develop and maintain ELF utilizing ColdFusion, HTML, Dreamweaver, and Java, as well as related technologies.
2. Ability to learn and work with existing WFPC and MCW systems. Software design, testing, documentation and user training will be routine expectations.
3. Demonstrate ability to work effectively with all program roles, including but not limited to faculty, residents & administrative staff.
4. Coordinate & manage regular ELF design meetings to develop planning, design, and layout of the site, as well as procure current feedback of the existing system.
5. Work with MySQL database to create tables and query data.
6. Responsible for an easy to use and intuitive web-based interface for the ELF application.
7. Develop user handbook, help interface, and associated training manuals for the ELF application.
8. Responsible for assisting and training other organizations in the role out of the ELF application.
Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent. Associates Degree plus in a computer related field and two additional years of equivalent work experience will be considered in place of Bachelors.
Experience: 3 year of experience required; 2 of the 3 years of experience must be with ColdFusion and HTML. 1 year SQL database experience required. Java experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communications skills are essential. Strong critical thinking, problem solving and attentiveness to detail required.
