 We are currently seeking a Technical Writerwith the following background and experience:

 Position Summary

 The selected candidate will write project and user documentation for a web-based system that is being developed for an enterprise architecture software solution.  The Technical Writer will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for learning the application and developing the content for user guides, installation guides, and other product related documentation. Other documentation may include application notes, release notes, and online help systems.

The position may also involve the creation and maintenance of other project documentation and project management materials. For Example: Requirements Management Plan, Software Maintenance Plan, and Quality Assurance Plan. The successful candidate must be a team player and be open to assisting with software testing, configuration management, and any other project-related duties that are assigned by the project manager.

 Requirements:

• Excellent writing and grammar skills

• Four year degree in English/Technical Writing/Education or other discipline

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Experience working both independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Well organized, detail oriented, and able to perform well in a deadline-driven, client-  oriented, team environment

Desired experience and skills:

• Experience writing content for IT projects

• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and their supporting documents

• Technical background in engineering, software, or IT

• Exposure to the Java/J2EE environment

• Experience with RoboHTML or AuthortIT and FrameMaker or PageMaker
