Technical Support/Help Desk

Melior, Inc., located in Birmingham, Al., has an exciting entry-level Technical Support position available.  We develop online training modules for schools (www.todaysclass.com) and professionals (www.melioronline.com).  To be considered, this individual must be able to interact with the development team to effectively support end users.

 

Must have previous customer service experience and demonstrate:

· Ability to create a positive customer relationship

· Exceptional telephone etiquette

· Ability to listen effectively in order to understand and process customer requests

· Ability to ask appropriate questions; ability to understand customer questions

· Conflict resolution skills

 

Must demonstrate proficiency in the following technical areas:

· Browser configuration including plug-ins

· Firewall issues

· Antivirus programs

· TCP/IP (Network+ desired)

· Proxy Servers

· E-Mail products

· Operating System/Networking/Hardware troubleshooting (A+ desired)

Must demonstrate proficiency in the following professional areas:

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment

· Must be detail oriented

· Effective time management skills

· Maturity and general business knowledge

· Strong desire and enthusiasm to learn

· Strong customer care skills
