We are actively recruiting for a Tax Director to join our Brookfield, WI office.This position requires up to 10% annual travel based on business needs.Position Summary:Direct Corporate income tax matters including Federal, multistate and international compliance, audits, planning, accounting and acquisitions for the Company. Ensure appropriate management and compliance with sales & use tax and property tax. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Develop the Company’s income tax strategy.Manage U.S. and multistate (potentially international in the future) income tax compliance functions. Sign federal and state returns as well as related filings.Ensure appropriate internal controls in place similar to SOX requirements related to domestic income taxes.Determine Company effective tax rate. Responsible for appropriate tax accounting (current and deferred taxes, tax provisions, and footnote disclosures).Advise on domestic and cross border transactions, including acquisitions and business ventures.Coordinate interactions with outside advisors.Develop and implement tax deferral/savings strategies.Direct federal and state audits. Travel:This position requires up to 10% annual travel based on business needs.Physical Conditions/Requirements:Position requires the ability to hear and communicate clearly, orally and in writing.
