TreQ is a transfer articulation tool that works in concert with DegreeWorks, and ediLink facilitates the electronic transfer of academic records between institutions. We are seeking a dynamic Team Lead to join the DegreeWorks team as a consulting team member or individual consultant on for-fee product implementation, enhancement, integration or audit projects. The position typically works on medium to large size projects involving multiple products and/or platforms. Duties are normally performed at client site.Core Functions:· Applies specialized software knowledge to analyze, design, and implement solutions which address moderately complex business or technical requirements. · Matches appropriate SCT products, methods or recognized equivalent to identified client needs. · Leverages knowledge and prior experience to develop, present, and defend rational conclusions, recommendations and implementation strategies. · Demonstrates knowledge of complete lifecycle in a recognized method, including linkages between tasks and work products. · Anticipates and resolves software problems and solves difficult challenges with only occasional need for assistance from others.· Mentors less experienced functional consultants.· Performs project lead or project manager functions for assigned project.· May provide (basic, intermediate, advanced) end user training/instruction on operational functionality of software. · Conducts business needs analysis and respond to client questions and inquiries. · Creates functional specifications documenting client’s software customization requirements. · Coordinates and conduct (system/acceptance/piloting) testing efforts with client. · Participates in code walk-throughs and other CSM quality assurance initiatives. · Provides custom documentation, test cases and training materials as required.· Trains on system navigation to allow the client to be able to navigate through and between forms and to understand the various fields that are contained.· Trains on development of necessary validation and rules tables.· Trains on basic processes to allow the client to be able to execute processes, to review the successful completion of the process and to understand the purpose of the process. · Trains on record creation. · Trains on standard reporting and ad hoc reporting (Object: Access).· Trains on the basics (i.e. – review samples, discussion on tool set) on Letter Generation, Population Selection.· Presents generic module overviews, mechanical aspects of the systems.· Reviews/interprets functional specifications for technical staff and client. · Creates possible scenarios within the system to stay up to date on the functionality of the system. · Prepares for upcoming client visit. Follow up on previous client visit.· Prepares and submit weekly status/trip reports as requested by unit.Supervisory Functions:· Performs supervisory tasks for team of assigned consultants including approval of timesheets, expense reports, and vacation requests. · Monitors sick and vacation usage and provides coaching and counseling as necessary. · Provides input to Practice Manager on assigned consultant’s performance reviews. · Collects, compiles and submits to Practice Managers the consultants’ monthly status reports.· Provides input to and conducts internal training for team members or new hires within the Practice. Position Requirements:Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree preferred; plus 4 to 7 years experience in software design, technical product support, or consulting as well as other credentials that establish a high level of expertise. Will supervise, coach or serve as team leader to less experienced personnel assigned to project. Moderate to heavy contact with middle to senior level client executives.
