Sr. C++ Developer

TEKsystems is seeking a talented Sr. Software Engineer for a client in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have systems level experience developing C/C++ applications at the TCP/IP protocol level. This team member will be responsible for designing and implementing client and server components for the company's Performance Suite products. They will also work with the rest of the existing team to plan, design, develop, review, and revise architecture and code. Responsibilities: - Use the client's development methodology and procedures to design code in order to meet product management specifications - Analyze and resolve software faults written against assigned products - Work directly with Test Engineers and the Customer Support Department to identify and understand issues - Compose and write functional and design specs for assigned product features to serve as written guides for coding and testing - Code ownership of major core software components and areas of the client's product architecture*Prior experience with telephony applications is extremely desirable!Required Skills: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, 3+ years of recent C/C++ and/or Java experience, 3+ years of recent experience in SQL DB, Excellent verbal/written communication skills, Object-oriented software design experience, Experience writing client/server or n-tier architected software, Experience with telephony applicationsJoin TEKsystems® and get your career on the fast track.
