Software Dev Engineer in Test - External Payment Systems Are you passionate about testing systems that have a visible and immediate impact on millions of customers? Do you want to build innovative solutions that automate testing of consumer based products built on top of Amazon's platform assets to grow our customer base? Are you excited about testing large-scale, distributed, highly-available systems using the latest technology? Then, Amazon External Payments Services (EPS) is the place for you! We are building innovative products for improving the eCommerce payments experience for millions of Amazon customers (developers, buyers and sellers) and are looking for Software Development Engineers in test who have experience in testing multi-tiered, distributed and highly available web-services and applications and are passionate about improving customer experience. Key responsibilities are: · Participate in the full development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters, including test plan execution and software quality needs· Own the delivery of test plans and automating majority of testing.· Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments.· Strong development (SDE or SDE/T) background on large projects on collaborative teams· Development experience; 3+ years software development experience· Proven coding skills in Java and or C++ is a must.· Understanding of XML, XSD, WSDL, and SOAP and a history working with web client software· Linux experience· Computer science degree or equivalent preferred· Must have experience working in QA and developing automated test frameworks (as opposed to writing automated tests for an existing framework, such as LoadRunner/WinRunner).
