Researches, analyzes, and recommends new operational support technologies, tools, and techniques. Coaches others on the application of new operational support technologies. Reviews distributed computing to select appropriate operational support strategies and ensure efficient use of resources. Conducts system support design and performance reviews. Identifies, develops, and updates operational support standards and procedures. Duties include: System monitoring, problem resolution, preventative maintenance, software installation and support and backup and restore support. REQUIREMENTS:  ** Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a background/drug screening investigation**Analyzes current IT systems to identify system inadequacies and recommends upgrades or changes. Gathers business requirements including projected use loads, customer types, associated usage characteristics, criteria for application, and reliability performance. Reviews technical specifications and records of past site performance or expected future site performance including review of site architecture, system design documents, data exchanges with external systems, and log files.  Assembles, simplifies, and shares system performance objectives with the in-house team. Confirms and agrees system performance objectives with all parties. Evaluates current and projected future workloads and data to predict infrastructure performance and recommends changes. Performs SLA reporting as required.  Experience with Harvest and PVCS or other software packages is required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Technical job skills must include proficiency with Windows, MS Office and MS Outlook HOURS:  M – F Normal Business hours, however this is a production environment that requires 24/7 support which necessitates some off hour coverage.   Company:Force 3Email:Apply by EmailReference Code:HU429
