Senior Software Engineer with project leadership experience
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with project leadership experience to help develop software to meet our business goals. He or she will be a member of one of these functional teams and work with the others: (UI Development, Web and Windows User Interfaces, Server Development, Data processing applications, Lifecycle Development, Extend existing applications, Project Development, Focused effort on new applications)
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Create Business Software (50%)
• Design and build software for a current business project
• Work in a team environment to complete projects
2. Create Infrastructure Software (20%)
• Help develop standards for the team
• Design and build the infrastructure, so projects can be executed efficiently
3. Support (10%)
• Find and fix bugs in released software
• Own the technical details of specific software
4. Research (10%)
• Research new technologies
• Create best practices using new technologies
5. Expand Development Knowledge (10%)
• Work on projects in other development groups
• Recommend items that will help different development teams work more efficiently
