We are currently looking for a talented individual to join our engineering team and take part in building next generation platform services.
What you will be doing in the role:Taking products from design to production Tight collaboration with various teams within Big Fish Games Building backend support for many new and cool games Be part of a team using an agile development process (Scrum) Working with QA to ensure solid, bug-free releases
Skills and abilities you should be bringing to the table:5+ years experience in building software using OOP principles 5+ years experience with the Java language, platform and technologies An understanding of multi-threaded programming Experience with distributed systems and network programming Experience with Spring 2 Framework 2+ years of experience in designing and building RESTful web services, Service oriented architecture and Message-oriented Middleware systems Strong communication skills Strong problem-solving skills BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
Desired Skills:Experience with an agile development process (Scrum, XP, Crystal) Experience with JUnit Understanding of JavaSpaces Use of source control tools as part of your coding Familiarity with Ant and Eclipse
