Senior Database Analyst/Administrator

Responsible for planning, design, development, implementation, integration and maintenance, of very large databases in a secure environment with multiple levels. The SDBA implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance code; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. Must be proficient in Database Administration and data modeling. Must analyze user requirements and design data models to satisfy user needs. Provide scalable solutions that address security requirements for confidentiality, integrity and access ability. Bachelor's degree in database management, computer science, computer engineering, information systems, engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline or equivalent work experience in an Oracle environmentSix or more years experience with RDBMS Extensive knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques used in administering very large databasesExperience with the implementation of disaster recovery methods for databases, including site failoverWork experience that demonstrates mastery of formal technology requirements documentation, "conceptual design", prototypes, and CMMI compliant work.Works well and is productive in a small team environmentMust demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills.Successful work experience in "customer-touching" roles.
