RealNetworks, Inc. is a rapidly growing, web based, digital music, online gaming and streaming company headquartered in Seattle, Washington, that provides the universal platform for the delivery of any digital media, from any point of origin, across virtually any network, to any person on any Internet-enabled device, anywhere in the world.GENERAL SUMMARY/PURPOSEJob Duties: The Search Marketing Strategist will be in charge of daily optimizations of both paid (PPC) and organic search (SEO) initiatives. Typical job duties will include: Building keywords for RealGames D2C websites, including weekly new game releases, mid-tail and long tail terms as needed over timePerforming weekly reporting for all paid search marketing campaignsPerforming weekly optimizations based on keyword performance dataMonitoring Search Engine Marketing budgetsWorking with vendors to resolve payment and invoicing issuesWorking with search engine representatives to grow and increase campaign successWorking with RealGames team to drive initiatives and business goals from the search perspectiveOptimizing and writing website copy for SEOCreating new pages on RealGames websites for both SEO and PPC campaignsLink building within RealGames sites as well as on 3rd party sitesThinking creatively to solve complex search engine optimization problemsPRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESList the five to six major job duties (essential job functions) in order of their importance and the percentage of time used to perform that duty. Duties may include such activities as maintains department files, uses a variety of software to compose correspondence, provides recommendations on investment strategy, creates financial spreadsheets, etc. The total time should equal 100%.Essential Functions: % of Time1. Budgeting and Forecasting 5Non-Essential Functions:QUANTITATIVE MEASURES:This position will be measured based on the ability to achieve traffic goals within budget as well as the ability to drive new traffic via SEO initiatives. The primary metric of measurement will be visits to our websites. Other measures will include: unique users, page views, and game downloads.
