Be part of this fast paced, IT organization, producing revenue generating software for the Electronic Flight Bag on the airplane, supporting pilots and crews. This growing IT team requires project management support for several projects, all in different stages of development. Responsibility will include leading project team activities and acting as primary customer contact to meet project objectives, while integrating resources from Boeing, subsidiaries, vendors, and offshore suppliers. Establish project plans and schedules to deliver complex (Part 121) software parts on-time and within budget, while conforming to all Boeing and Industry standards for quality, reliability, and safety. Apply project management techniques and tools as well as Boeing standard project management methodology to reduce risk. Communicate program performance results in project status reviews with various level of management. Work as part of a team to identify and establish best practices in the development, certification and operational approval of aircraft systems in compliance with DO-178B and AS9100/9006. Responsibility also includes identifying emerging needs and proactively developing business cases, identifying and acquiring funding and resources, creating detailed plans, and tracking progress for multiple concurrent IT projects.
