Business Analyst

Sage IT Services is seeking a Business Analyst to join a client in downtown Seattle on a 6 month contract basis.  Be part of an team that will be gathering business requirements for clients web applications.  This position requires a solid knowledge of Business Analysis, methods and tools and strong data analysis skills.  Candidates need to have a solid system/application spec writing history and experience in Agile methodologies.  Candidates having a Project Management background would be a plus.

Responsibilities:

 Effectively define and specify software application requirements and business rules for the applications supporting clients systems.Work closely with the leads and business partners to provide estimates as well as technical consulting for requested enhancements and new products.Collaborate with programming and quality assurance team members to meet customer expectations by identifying the most efficient and reliable solutions that can be rapidly implemented.Interact with many different areas of the company.Work with diverse set of development staff onshore and offshore.

Requirements:

 5 - 10+ years of experience in a related Business Analyst positionProficiency in business analysis skills, including user requirements gathering, process modeling, and specification of functional systems requirements.Effectively communicate with higher level business customers.Experience working on multiple small projects.Experience working with business customers on developing requirements.Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to take appropriate level of risk.Ability to read and work in XML a plus.Experience with the SDLC.
