Technical Support Representative

Land Measurement Systems is currently seeking a Technical Support Representative to work out of one of our branch offices (Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver & Winnipeg). You will be responsible for providing technical customer support to LMS’s internal and external customers by responding to queries pertaining to the equipment and software that LMS sells, rents and services.Description: Duties will include responding to enquiries via email, fax, phone or in person on a timely basis. You will troubleshoot, analyze and provide solutions to customer problems. You must be able to create technical information and solutions for the internal and external customers. This is a very demanding position and we are looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual able to work in the team environment and also possess the ability to work alone with little or no supervisionThe successful candidate must have: Post-secondary education in Land Survey or Geomatics is mandatory Finely tuned customer service skills Minimum 1 years field experience with GPS and/or survey equipment Familiar with Windows and Windows CE operating systems High diagnostic, analytical and creative skills Self-disciplined, highly organized with the ability to multi-task and change directions quickly Canadian working permit, be a landed Immigrant or Canadian citizen.
