Systems Analyst - Order to Cash

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for working with the business process owner to identify process improvements.

2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as well as work with Oracle support on any issues that require vendor resolution.

3. Work closely with technical developers and database administrators during the troubleshooting and design process.

4. Develop high level test plans for integration and system testing in order to identify potential defects and minimize problems within the application after upgrades and patches.

5. Develop training plans to ensure effective use of Oracle applications by users.

6. Support local customers in developing business cases for enhancements.

7. Will work as an escalation point and mentor for local Systems Analysts.

 

Educational Background Required:

• Bachelor of Science degree - Computer Science or MIS (preferred) or equivalent experience.

 

Educational Background Desired:

• MA in Computer Science or Business.

 

Work Experience Required:

• 2-5 years supporting and/or implementing Oracle Order Management/Shipping/Advanced. Pricing/Account Receivables/ IReceivables Modules (11.5.10).

• Detailed familiarity of the end to end Order to Cash process and the issues and best practices therein.

• Requires strong in depth functional understanding of Oracle OM/AR techniques and processes.

• Solid experience with Oracle's AIM or other ERP implementation methodology is required.

• Should be well versed in Order Management/Pricing and AR processes, applications, and automation technologies and be able to apply business process to application functionality.

• Functional experience in an ERP environment, preferably Oracle Application.

• Oracle Applications Certifications are preferred.

• Experience in supporting Oracle applications (11.5.10) where competing priorities require prioritization of work load is preferred.
