We are searching for an experienced, senior level Business Systems Consultant with (ideally but not required) a background in Claims Management, Insurance and Payment Applications to consult to our client, a local branch of government. If you are passionate about building creative business process and system solutions, learning BPM methods, tools and techniques which transform business management and application design - we would love to talk to you!Responsibilities: - LEADING MAJOR CHANGE PROGRAMS: You will lead, facilitate and provide oversight to multiple business process optimization teams and be responsible for managing and delivering large scale programs in a government environment- WORKSHOP FACILITATION: You will scope, schedule and facilitate workshops with senior management and SMEs of our client to identify, design, document, analyze and recommend optimization for their business processes;- PROCESS MODELING: You will learn an advanced process modeling notation and will utilize BPM modeling tools to develop hierarchical architecture of manual and automated business processes, capturing organizational and process models, data and system workflows, describing the process triggers, roles, activities, inputs, outputs and results; - SYSTEMS ANALYSIS: You will map/gap business processes against current-state systems, identifying improvement and automation opportunities, defining and documenting required high-level system capabilities and low-level requirements to drive service definition in a business case for SOA solution design;- SOLUTION DESIGN: You will evaluate the system flows within client's systems, identifying improvement opportunities and scoping the logical and implementation roadmaps for future business process and system modifications and improvements- DELIVERABLE DOCUMENTATION and DELIVERY: You will document the required modifications to current-state process models and supporting roles and systems, and present a solution recommendation to successfully implement process and supporting system and architecture improvements. - 5+ years of BSA experience with focus on claims management, insurance and payment processes and applications. - Proven track record of driving large, cross-organizational business process automation programs to successful and measurable conclusion.- Strong leader who can motivate and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization from executive management and peers to direct reports, operational and IT level workforce.- Strong written and oral communication skills- Experience with process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) and change management methods a plus - Experience with process improvement and change management methods a plus.- Experience with process modeling techniques and tools a plus- Prior state government experience a plus.- Prior consulting experience is a plus.- BA/BS required, MBA preferred- This position is located in Olympia, WA RESPOND HERE!
