I have a new requirement. Any candidates that are sent to me must be of
senior level as when client does a phone screen it is extremely

Complete Description:
SAP BW Application Specialist
Candidate must have SAP Business Warehouse 3.5 technical knowledge with
CO and SD focus. Candidate will be familiar with BW structures,
extractors, RSCRM_BAPI, Open Hub, Generic extraction, ABAP, Non-R/3
DataSources, Ascential's DataStage, InfoProvider design, Web App
Designer, and BEX. 6-8 years SAP experience preferred. He/she should be
comfortable with importing non-R/3 data into BW, as well as exporting
data out of BW to non-SAP target systems. Candidate must also have
strong communication and interpersonal skills as job requires
significant amount of user engagement. Duties/Responsibilities Gathering
of end user requirements Setting up of the data extraction process from
SAP R/3 and external system(s) into BW Setting up of data retraction
process from BW into SAP R/3 Setting up of data extraction process from
BW into external system(s) Creation of queries and workbooks based on
report specifications Enhance Query Functions using User Exits Query
Performance Optimization Implement and Maintain Process Chains
Development of InfoObjects, InfoCubes, ODS objects, MultiProviders,
Virtual Key Figures Technical Documentation of the BW system Strong R/3
Configuration and ABAP Skills Data modeling, Data extraction,
Performance tuning, Source Systems connection, Custom extractors
Utilization of DataStage ETL tool
Strong BW knowledge with 7 years of experience.
*Create technical design, unit test scripts, resolve system test issues,
create implementation plan
*Ability to debug code and resolve the issues
*3 complete project lifecycles of BW projects
*Leadership required to take lead on resolving issues
*Prior Miller experience is a definite plus
Develops custom SAP functionality, typically using ABAP code, SAP
Script, RFC, BW language or EBP Workflow. Also provides assistance to
prepare technical specifications
