Additionally, the PE will play a key role in helping maintain the very highest quality engineering and technical support for our Customers by working directly with the customer and/or 3rd party vendor to resolve issues quickly and professionally.  Job Requirements Qualifications; - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or an Engineering discipline with MSCE/MCP Certification. - 2 years of directly related technical, test environment, software/hardware support experience.  - Ability to write and execute test cases based on test plans and specifications.  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Provide on-going technical guidance and support to other team members - Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills. - Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact. - Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced, high demand environment. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while remaining detail oriented. - Ability to troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and integration software problems in a distributed Windows 2003/XP environment. - Working knowledge of internet/LAN protocols, software/hardware firewalls, and authentication protocols. - Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration and configuration/use of SharePoint.  - Must be innovative self-starter able to set/meet goals, deadlines and make critical business decisions.Responsibilities; - Function as level 2 point of contact for  incoming and assigned customer cases by providing telephone, web, and email based support.  - Meet company contractual and internal goals for customer communication by responding to requests for assistance while providing updates on progress of resolution.  - Initiate the highest quality, tested and proven, creative solutions to product improvement and reliability - Acquire, maintain, expand and communicate knowledge of relevant product offerings, current support policies, and methods of support delivery to quickly provide accurate and complete solutions. - Effectively build and utilize support tools to document problems, propagate solutions and communicate to customers/co-workers. - Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in all processes, communication and documentation.Adam Hall 206 224 3162 CareersDiscover the freedom, the flexibility and opportunity available through temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire assignments at CORESTAFF.
